Here at the Contests Page, San Antonians can win free tickets to special pre-screenings of movies throughout the year. What is a pre-screening? A pre-screening is when a movie studio screens one of their films before it hits theaters. Pre-screenings are held in most major U.S. cities. Tickets are allocated to media outlets (newspapers, TV stations, radio stations, websites) to pass out to their audiences. CineSnob.net is the only San Antonio-based movie website where you can win tickets. All winners must be from San Antonio or be able to make it to San Antonio the night of the screening. Note: The fewer tickets allocated to me to give away by the studio for a screening, the harder the contest will be. For example: A screening with 100 tickets to give away will include a fairly easy trivia question. A screening with 25 tickets will include a tougher assignment.

How to win a ticket for two: Identify (left to right) all the fictional islands where you would find each movie character below. For example, if there was a picture of Godzilla you would answer Monster Island because that’s where Godzilla lives. Do not send in the names of the movies or the characters (unless the island name is the same as the movie name like “Shutter Island”). I’m looking for island names only.

Contest ends Feb. 12 at 11:59 p.m. or until supplies last. I will email winners a code to download the tickets at GoFoBo.com the following day. One email per participant. Must be 18 to play. Good Luck and remember, maps won’t help.
