Starring: Kang-ho Song, Ha-kyun Shin, Ok-vin Kim
Directed by: Chan-wook Park (“Old Boy”)
Written by: Seo-Gyeong Jeong (“Lady Vengence”) and Chan-wook Park

Acclaimed Korean director Chan-wook Park jumps on the vampire bandwagon and attempts to give his own creative take on the genre in the artistic but all too overstated film “Thirst.” There some great imagery here, but Park can’t collect his thoughts long enough and the tedious narrative splinters off into entirely too many directions. No matter what vampire spectrum you are on – “Twilight” or “Let the Right One In” – “Thirst” doesn’t quench for the most part.
